Whether it’s work, personal, medical issues, or just life … time is always constantly tracked…
How we deal with time…
There’s always a choice we make… how we deal with time… how we spend our time… what we do with our time… who we choose to spend our time with… and why.
So often during life… we are caught up in the day to day … whether it’s work… pursuit of something we want… or pursuit of something we need… we all know… it’s easy to get caught up… easy to focus on daily tasks… it helps alleviate what we don’t want to think about everyday…
… the limited time we have
In all of our lives… we pursue things for different reasons. It may be for reasons of success, it may be for self esteem, it may be for a meaning in life, it may be for proving something to ourselves… or perhaps even someone else… really… everyone has their own personal reasons for what they do.
But what and who we spend our time on is personal. Whether it’s family or work… there’s always some personal connection.
So today… I want to tell you… People don’t spend time with people they don’t consider important. They spend time with those important to them.
So know… If you were lucky enough to experience some time with Jan Drake… he made a decision to spend that time with you. That means he considered you an important part of his life.
So celebrate his life... and remember him for what he was.
